The School Philosophy at Our Lady of Grace Montessori School

Our Lady of Grace Montessori School in Manhasset has two programs - 3 to 5 year olds and the opportunity to continue in the 6 - 9 year old Elementary Program. The purpose of each program is the maximum possible development of each child into a happy fulfilled person, at peace with oneself, living in true justice with one's neighbor, and ultimately finding fulfillment with God.

The program is based firmly on the beliefs in:

• The essential dignity of all human beings,
• The spiritual quality of all children and
• The value of human work through which the child creates the person he/she will become.
