Our Lady of Grace Center Additional Opportunities

Center Use

The Center is available for groups to use for spiritual or educational programs. This former Vanderbilt Mansion is suitable for groups of up to fifty persons for day programs, with overnight accommodations for fifteen. Groups may bring their own presenter or arrange for one of our staff or adjunct staff to present the program. Excellent for school/parish staffs, parish groups, personal and staff development. Reservations are made by calling the Center office. A non-refundable deposit is required.

Retreats for Groups

We are available to facilitate on-site retreat days, evenings and weekends. We have a choice of presenters who can assist you in designing a program that best fits your group’s needs. Inquire at the Center office.

Private Retreats

A picturesque chalet is available for one or several days of prayer. It has two bedrooms, a sitting room and two bathrooms. A toaster oven, refrigerator and microwave enable the retreatant to prepare simple meals.
Day: $30 (religious), $40 (lay)
Overnight: $40 (religious), $50 (lay)
Deposit required.

Holistic Spirituality and Wellness Center
Our Lady of Grace offers individual services for health and wholeness in our Center. Appointments are made directly with the practitioner. Information and phone numbers are found in a separate brochure.

Directions:
We are located on Shelter Rock Road in northern Nassau County, Long Island approximately 30 miles east of Manhattan.

By Car: Use the Northern State Parkway Exit 27 North, Shelter Rock Road. The Center is 7/10 mile on right just past the traffic light at the Hamlet.

By Rail: Take the Port Washington Line of the LIRR from Pennsylvania Station in Manhattan to Manhasset Station. A taxi at the station will bring you the remaining 1 mile to OLGC. (About $4)

By Plane: Go to the ground transportation booth at LaGuardia Airport. Ask for Classic Limousine’s shared ride service. (About $28)
