Women's Holistic Center

Our Lady of Grace sponsors a holistic spirituality center with women practitioners who are attuned to women's special needs. Grounded in God's love, the services offered are supportive of the well-being of the total person.

Services are provided in a wing of the building, ground floor level, which has a separate entrance. Practitioners are available at least once a month, some twice a week. Please call the practitioner directly to schedule an appointment. Fees are paid directly to the practitioner.

Services Available

Counseling from a holistic perspective is powerful in its ability to heal the body, mind and spirit. Conversing with a trained and skilled clinician offers the client potential to free themselves from emotional confusion and pain related to past or present issues in their life. This opens the ability to experience happiness and serenity. Support and learned skills are provided to address such issues as anxiety, depression, martial discord, parental issues, life transitions and loss. In addition, counseling is a natural adjunct to the insights gained and personal support sometimes required when working a 12 Step Recovery Program. Services are offered to individuals, couples, and families.

Counseling in a holistic setting understands the inter-relatedness of our body, mind and spirit. Through attentive listening and interactive dialogue, the client receives support for accessing the inner wisdom and Guidance necessary for her total well-being. She receives support to implement those insights, practices and decisions in her daily life.

Massage helps people reclaim their mind, body, spirit connection which strengthens one's natural healing ability. By reducing stress, it eliminates the root of imbalance and puts us in touch with that sacred inner space where God dwells. Various practitioners are able to offer Swedish Massage, Shiatsu Massage, Amma Massage, Reiki Massage, Medical Massage and Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD).

Reflexology stimulates the feet by opening up energy pathways that flow throughout the body. As the therapist locates and breaks up crystalline salt deposits in the feet, corresponding parts of the body are stimulated Reflexology can be combined with massage, if desired.
